Imagine: France, 18th century, Versailles—the grand palace and garden complex. You are attending a lavish royal ball hosted by King Louis XV. Representatives of the most powerful nations have gathered to forge advantageous alliances, exchange courtly news, arrange marriages for their daughters—and you are among them.

In the game, each participant receives a unique role connected to other characters. Players interact in large groups or smaller circles of two or three to uncover key information, form peaceful alliances, unite into coalitions, or engage in courtly intrigue.
